We’ve gathered together the audio, presentation slides and a transcript of a talk which Professor David Clark gave at the UK Congress of Palliative Care in Glasgow on Wednesday 9 March 2016.

The event was introduced by Chancellor of the University of Glasgow, Professor Sir Kenneth Calman, who is a former editor of the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Medicine.
In his presentation David introduced our research project Global Interventions at the End of Life, giving an overview of the work done by our researchers in the first year of our Wellcome Trust funded project. He described our approach and initial case studies, and introduced the concepts behind our work.
During the talk there was activity on twitter #PCC2016, and the audience joined a Q&A session with a discussion ranging from workforce planning to the idea of the fireside death cafe, to the relationship between palliative care and assisted suicide.
